SCSMission represents the ideals of Bhakti Yoga taught in the ancient devotional Scriptures of India. It is the Salt Lake City branch of the multi-national Bhakti Yoga Society, Sri Chaitanya Saraswat Math, which has its headquarters in West Bengal, India. Our goal is to practice and serve according to the teachings and ideals of the ancient disciplic line of Bhakti Yoga Gurus, known as Guru Parampara.

The Sanskrit word ‘Yoga’ means ‘union’ or ‘connection’. The goal of all yoga is to form a loving relationship with the Absolute Reality, who is the embodiment of all sweetness, beauty, joy and love, and the center of all eternal relationships. Bhakti Yoga is the Yoga of the heart, or the Yoga of our eternal devotion, and is thus concerned with the internal development of spirit.

We invite you to join us for any or all of our free weekly programs!
