Sri Krishna Janmastami and Sri Nandotsava festivals (photos)

Below are photos of the two-day festival of Sri Krishna Janmastami and Sri Nandotsava.

Sri Krishna Janmastami is celebrated all over the world as the Appearance Day of Sri Krishna, the Supreme Personality of Godhead. The day after is called Sri Nandotsava, and it is the day of Nanda Maharaj’s  feast in glorification of his son, Sri Krishna. Also, Srila Bhaktivedanta Swami Prabhupada appeared on this day, and therefore we offered pushpanjali (flower worship) for His Divine Grace. In addition to all this, our beloved Vishakha’s birthday was on the same day, and we gladly used this opportunity to make an extra cake for the Lord. Every day is a festival day at Sri Chaitanya Saraswat Math, but some days are especially splendid!
By the way, notice the new outfit of Sri Sri Guru Gaurachandra-jiu!
